November

  • Motor Trader magazine ranks the Listers Group as 11th largest motor company by turnover in the UK, up from 16th place in 2006.
  • Listers of Hallow opens on the former Lexus Worcester site selling an excellent selection of used prestige and sports cars

October

  • Lexus Worcester re-locates to multi-million pound new showroom in Cheltenham
  • Listers staff raise over £1,000 for breast cancer charities by ‘Wearing it Pink’ on October 26th
  • Listers acquire first BMW and MINI franchises in King’s Lynn, this brings the total number of franchise dealerships operated by the Listers Group to 35
  • Third Lexus centre, Lexus Lincoln, is opened by the Listers Group on a prime location next to the A46 in Lincoln.

July

  • Europe’s largest Audi Centre, Birmingham Audi is opened by the Listers Group. Guests attend launch party and are entertained by soul diva Beverley Knight.
  • Honda Northampton score an A+ for Sales and A for Service proving their commitment to customer satisfaction

June

  • New PDI Centre is opened at Lawford Heath in the Midlands increasing the group’s new car preparation capacity by 50%
  • A suite of green initiatives are launched within the group including large scale paper and packaging recycling

May

  • Avonvale Honda Northampton re-locate to purpose built new showroom on Riverside Retail Park

March

  • Listers Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep in Lincoln win Best Improver for their Division

February

  • Mercedes-Benz Hull and Lincolnshire represent Best Practice in Customer Service for the Mercedes-Benz UK retail network at the Mercedes-Benz World Conference in Lisbon, Portugal.

January

  • New 12 month After Sales Managerial Development Programme is launched with over 35 partcipants in the first phase. Programme is recognised by the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry).

2006

  • Mercedes-Benz Hull and Lincolnshire voted UK Customer Satisfaction Retailer of the Year by their own customers. The group were also nominated in three other categories
  • Coventry Honda Sales Executive wins Honda UK Sales Executive of the Year Award
  • Honda Northampton and Honda Coventry achieve “Top Ten” dealer status for Customer Satisfaction in Sales
  • Listers Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep in Lincoln win the Q4 Chrysler UK After Sales Centre of the Year
  • Listers Volkswagen Commercials in Coventry are recognised as one of the top three Van Centres in the Van Centre of the Year Awards.
  • Listers Chrysler Jeep in Lincoln win “Car Dealer of the Year” in the local business awards sponsored by the Chicago Rock Café.
  • Worcester Audi awarded gold for both Sales and After Sales at the Audi Driver Magazine Awards

2005

  • Listers Group awarded “National Retailer of the Year" at the Automotive Management awards. Group also wins “Large Dealer Group of the Year".
